Liberty Professionals coach Reginald Boateng has reflected on his side’s 2-1 loss at the hands of Ebusua Dwarfs in the Ghana Premier League this past weekend.

Following two straight wins, Liberty were full of confidence heading into their clash with Dwarfs, and even claimed the lead midway through the first half thanks to a penalty from Benjamin Eshun.

Yet Ebusua recovered in the second half to take the win thanks to strikes from Alhaji Mustapha and Dennis Akorsah.

The ‘Scientific Soccer’ team were guilty of missing many chance throughout the match, leaving Boateng to feel that they were the architects of their own demise.

“It was an interesting game, I think we lost all the chances,” the coach said, as quoted by Ghanasoccernet.

“We played well but we didn’t finish well so it’s a very painful loss but we will go back to the drawing board.”

Liberty will look to bounce back to winning form when they face Dreams FC on Thursday this week.
