Kaizer Chiefs have received a timely boost with news that Ramahlwe Mphahlele has returned to full training.
The Amakhosi confirmed via social media that 27-year-old has recovered from the injury he sustained on Bafana Bafana duty back in September.
Chiefs have struggled with injury problems throughout the campaign, and will welcome Mphahlele with open arms alongside fellow defender Kgotso Moleko, who has also made a return from injury.
Moleko hasn’t played fort he Glamour Boys since he damaged his knee in the annual Macufe Cup clash against Bloemfontein Celtic in October.
Joseph Molangoane has performed adequately in a wing-back role with Chiefs having struggled with injury problems – especially in defence – during the opening rounds of the 2017-18 league season.
Tsepo Masilela (ankle), Ryan Moon (jaw) and Emmanuel Letlotlo (knee) remain on the sidelines.
Kaizer Chiefs return to action with a clash against Chippa United at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on December 6
