Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp believes that in-form forward Salah will become even better after scoring four goals against Watford FC.

The Egypt international was in electrifying form as Liverpool thumped Watford 5-0 in an English Premier League match at the Anfield Stadium on Saturday.

Salah become broke Spanish striker Fernando Torres’ record of 33 competitive goals for a player in his debut season at Liverpool.

The 25-year-old has now remarkably scored 36 goals which is a new club record and Klopp spoke to The Guradian about the talented attacker.

“He [Salah] played more on the wing for Roma, where he had a very dominant striker in Edin Dzeko,” Klopp said.

“Nobody could know [that he could play as a striker]. We learned it step by step. We didn’t know exactly that he’s capable of playing in the centre.

“But we will not treat him like: ‘You don’t have to train, Mo – just come on Saturday for the game and we’ll see you there at Anfield or whatever,’” he added.

“He doesn’t want that. He’s in the moment of his career but he knows there is a lot for him to come. He wants to learn and he wants to improve.”

Salah, who joined the Reds from Italian side AS Roma last June, has netted 36 goals in 40 matches in all competitions this season.
